How It Works: The Process of Getting Your New or Revised Website

I use the following steps with each client to ensure an easy time for all of us:

1. I'll ask you questions about your business, about who your clients or customers are, and we'll discuss (in plain English) how various website features can meet your unique business needs.

2. We'll review ideas for website designs by looking at some actual websites, and we'll sort out the particular look and feel that you want, basing all of the decisions on what works best for your needs.

3. I will give you an initial proposal that includes cost and details, and which spells out exactly what's happening.

4. After answering any and all of your questions, I'll revise the proposal and give it back to you.

5. You will indicate your readiness to proceed by returning the proposal with your signature and a down payment, along with any items you might want to provide (artwork for a logo, for example).

6. I will give you a detailed outline of each website page, including a clear indication of what I need to complete each page (text and/or photos).

7. I will provide regular status reports to keep you informed of the website progress, and I will continue to answer questions and fine-tune the website as we discover what works best.

8. You carefully review the finished website and indicate any needed corrections or changes.

9. You proudly show off your new website to everyone!

10. You enjoy the increase in business success that your website both directly and indirectly provides, knowing that you made a great decision when you opted to work with Patricia Major at Small World Web Svcs!
